Pre-production update

On today’s lesson, we continued on the set designs and produced A3 sheet with images to show the concept. Also, we had a brief chat with Matt. He point out that we need a strong reason for the band image. To build up their image, we need to set up their personal identity according to their characteristic and why they attracted us to pick them. After that, we discussed and came up with four ideas of the concept of the band. The name of the actual band is communism, which is related to politics perspectives, therefore, Dylan suggested that they can act as soliders. The other one is be like forensic scientists, the scene will set as a crime scene, and the band performing inside the barrier tape.

Also, we can have scene like this, which can fit the scene in the game room in terms of lighting and colours etc.

However, the band does not look like scientists. Jack showed us a music video that is set in a laboratory, the musicians and dancers dress like scientists with a white lab coat on and luxury shirt inside, which challenged the stereotype of scientists/doctors
